i get op but i feel like people should be careful about generalizing. arguably, rf was among the most hated too this season, they ain't asian. fans are just toxic in general, idt it's xenophobia personally

i reckon these are the same people who critiqued motiv's megacrew for being more about the message rather than dance—as if hiphop and politics are separable when hiphop IS POLITICAL #WSWF
I have so much respect for all of the women of Bumsup. For what they pioneered for the rest of us. For their work ethic. And especially their ability to keep fighting amidst such brutal and unnecessary criticism. Strength🧡💙 They gave us a run for our money this battle!!!!
that battle was honestly groundbreaking, i don't think anyone could've called it. i was at the edge of my seat the entire time, best battle in the history of this show. kudos to motiv and bumsup cause that was THE SHIT #WSWF

Fight Judges score for MOTIV's Mega Crew mission performance.
Motiv is the only crew that doesn't have a specific group of people to represent what "America" is. So the idea of all of those different races representing the USA, is their approach to the word "MEGA". And A LOT of you missed that. They're screaming and you're not listening.
i saw someone comment saying they wished motiv focused more on choreo than their message. man people have got to remember, dance IS political. bodies have long been a form of resistance to hegemonic systems. motiv's megacrew was a NEED in this time #WSWF
i stand by the statement that everything is political and it's honestly so amazing to see that direction in motiv's megacrew and to showcase and incorporate dancing with experiences of structural and human conflicts is so refreshing and eye opening at a minimum!
it's pretty ruthless that they did not even let RF do a megacrew. they could have shown their real directing and choreo chops without the producers being up their asses. they did so well in this battle too btw #WSWF
Based on Moana's story, that was most definitely the producer's decision, I mean think about it... they were losing screen time for themselves too. Just because y'all have a hate boner for RF now doesn't mean they should be blamed for everything, it's still a reality show. #WSWF
From that preview i dare to say that RF directing that video was such a WRONG choice... you have 24 amazing female dancers to work with and yet they added male dancers and gave almost none screentime to the other crews??? #WSWF
in my head, it would have been between Honey J and Ibuki for worst dancer 'cause Marlee got the director's cut, Kaea and Teesha both shined a bit more too. Ain't no way Rie was gonna throw Ibuki under the bus so the only option that made most sense was HJ
Rie basically said "I understand the language barrier was HARD for Honey J and I knew she really tried her best. Unfortunately, I wished she showed more power in her moves because I think she has it, its just that it seemed difficult for her at that time."
