Days 5/6 #100DaysOfCode Kept working on my #MERN ecommerce app! I finished the API for users, products, carts, and orders and started working on implementing stripe for payments. I'm proud of myself for figuring out everything with JWT and different levels of authorization.

Coding is so easy for me to get drawn into. I start working on something and just get curious about making it work and can stay engaged with it for hours at a time.
Tutorials can be a great start but I've always learned so much more when I've challenged myself to build something a few steps more complex than the tutorial is building. It exposes you to so many more views and you learn ways of doing things the tutorial would never mention.
👉 The fastest way to learn is to code the concepts you're learning. Don't just copy examples - change code until you understand it. Further googling to find more answers is then likely, and what you can expect for the rest of your career

Day 1/100 #100DaysOfCode Today I started my antiques/art eCommerce app by setting up a node server, connecting MongoDB, and writing all the database schema. Since I want user products and ratings, it was one of the more complicated schemas I've designed and I had a blast.
I've done #100DaysOfCode before years ago, but I'm going to do it again to work on some portfolio projects. Gonna start tomorrow, working on the first one: a #MERN-stack eCommerce application for art/antiques with an up-vote based rating system. Excited to get into it! 🦝
