After a lot of thought, I've decided to close this account at the end of March this year and focus all my Twitter efforts at @settermjd. The main reason is that the content of both overlap too much to justify having multiple accounts. /1

Worth reading and thinking about

I definitely don't hate PHP. I use it, know it well, and it's very popular. But I think that we need something better for the web.. at least someday.. That handles the concurrent nature of web applications without such significant accidental complexity. It's not a great fit..
