Reminder, and apparently folks need it because of the comments, teams like the Rays trading Glasnow and the Red Sox trading Betts because they didn’t want to pay either player are the real issue with baseball. Cheap owners not keeping their top talent is a travesty.
Multiple things can be happening at once. The Thunder are the best team in the NBA. Their best player is a foul baiter. Those are separate things. I don’t think people are saying the Thunder are here because of a whistle. They’re saying SGA’s grifting isn’t fun to watch.

Wow. In terms of basketball, a lot to unpack. More later. In terms of the balance sheet more flexibility and roster balance to the future. Giving up KAT is a lot. But first blush, on balance, a trade that strengthens the franchise, maybe now, surely in the future.
