One of my favourite photos of Search Dog 'Red' @davebob popped up on fb. I took this waiting for our turn to go in the arena at an Emergency Services Day in a local park to do a demonstration on how a Search Dog finds missing people. Bonus photobombing by the Michelin Man

Family to her handler and also part of a family of Search and Rescue teams across the world. Our kindest thoughts and gentle hugs to all who loved, played worked and trained with Jemma and to those saved by her.
Jemma volunteered thousands of hours over her career. She was loved by all, worked, trained and played hard. Her commitment to the SES was admired by all who knew her. She saved lives and had a wonderful life. She will be loved and remembered forever. Rest In Peace Jemma. (2/2)

For reasons I have yet to understand to repair the bog seat me Dad took the bog door off. I've mended the seat but now we can't lift the buggerin' door on to its hinges as me Dads backs gone & I can't manage a door with a dicky arm. None of us can whistle either 🙁
Watching a 1940 Fred Astaire movie and now I want a top hat. Dam, the blokes dressed well back then. Also starring Burgess Meredith who went on to play the original and in my opinion, the best, 'Penguin' in Batman.
