Mumbaikars after seeing squeaky clean Metro Line 3 premises: "Waaaaw guys, ganda karne ke liye fresh jagah aaya hai markit me. Chaloooo 🏃"

Public had already begun defacing the Mumbai Metro Aqua Line on Day 2. Paan stains, food packets, spitting and what not. Even as the metro is still in a discovery phase, commuters start getting litter inside, with the CSMT subway entry getting most littered.…

One of the reasons I preferred @zomato over @Swiggy was that it let me read customer reviews of restaurants before I order. However, that option no longer exists on the app. Instead, they have completely moved to this weird twin rating system which makes no sense to me. 🤷

The Metro is access controlled. It has CCTV cameras. Depute staff to monitor such infractions. If caught on camera, don't allow the culprits to exit the access-controlled system. Impose a Rs 2000 fine on the spot, or send them to jail.

Civic sense: 0/10 We build world-class metros, then treat them like street corners. C’mon you can do better Mumbai.

Behen konse mohalle me rehti ho jaha choti bachchiyon ko randi bola jaata hai? 🤔

I haven’t normalized randi. It is already normalized to call women that. Little girls are called randi by their parents when they don’t listen. Young girls are called randi in school by boys as a “joke”. If you think me calling myself randi is normalising the word then you…

We are not against the metro, but we don't care if we delay it for years and drive up the cost midway through the project, unless you satisfy ME! It's just the narcissism of fashionable do-gooders.

Looking at the #MumbaiMetro3 ridership on Day 1 of full operations, it’s clear, Mumbai can’t afford to say no to any new transport mode. An MMRDA study (2016) found that a local train commuter in Mumbai gets barely 1 sq ft of space during peak hours.. With infrastructure…

Did the video end abruptly because the driver in the car 👊him?

🚨 In Delhi, cars don’t stop before zebra crossings, they stop on them. 🤡 >Footpaths = parking lots. >Zebra crossings = waiting lounges. For drivers here, rules are just road decoration.

Day 1 of Mumbai's first underground Metro, and look how many cars are off the road? And this is from just one station. Improve last mile connectivity and these cars wouldn't't even need to reach here. Their owners will happily leave them at home. This, my friend, is the power…

Insane scene at Aarey JVLR stn,the starting stn of L3.I knew people used to park & take the metro but this is something nobody must have predicted including myself.MMRCL can built a MLCP in the vicinity as it has lot of empty land there

This isn’t even an exaggeration; it genuinely takes less time to reach NMIA from Pune than it does from Palghar. And Palghar is technically part of MMRDA, mind you. 😭

Our standards are so bottom tier, they shouldn't even be called standards.

This should be ideally extended to Kottayam. TVC extension is not feasible, but KTYM is doable. Only concern is lack of maintenance facilities there. But KTYM has enough platforms and space that is unused.

I shudder to think what would happen if even one of those Tharholes got hold of this monstrosity.

Never thought I'd see one in India - The Hummer EV. It's absolutely gigantic - way bigger than it looks in the pictures, and has insane road presence. What do you think? @volklub @rushlane @Xroaders_001 @ShivrattanDhil1

Until 2011, Mumbai used to be India's busiest airport. Delhi took that title because of the world class upgrades that IGI Airport received. Mumbai was also upgraded in 2014, but it suffered from one major issue that Delhi did not. Room to expand. To this day, it remains the…
