What if the people who opposed lockdowns, mandatory masks and coerced injections weren't selfish, science denying idiots who wanted everybody to die? What if they were rationally trying to protect people's civil rights, freedom, mental, physical & financial health, and children?
It's hard for me to take people seriously who go on and on about 'mental health', whilst they've spent the past two years terrorising people with house arrests, forced isolation, school & business closures, mandatory masking, and other direct attacks on human connection and joy.
When Obamacare was being debated in the U.S. and the right was talking about "death pannels" and then later the left mocked them every chance they got. I think this is what the right was talking about.
But this is a key point. It's absolutely true: the theory used to prosecute Assange would allow the criminalization of all journalists who challenge power (Brazil copied that theory when it tried to prosecute me). I think many media figures don't care because they don't do that:
I get that they hate Assange, but I’m still amazed by how few mainstream journalists understand that this case also impacts them personally.
