Cars, LFC and the Pittsburgh Steelers

That’s a ridiculous catch by Gainwell, down low, one handed

My goodness I needed this. Please keep a clean sheet reds.

Anybody know the last time Liverpool won 1-0?

Don’t understand referees. No free kick for Ekitike, then he blows up straight after for that?

When Paqueta is so far offside, why on earth not just flag it? It doesn’t get more clear

Would prefer to see Mac Allister come off than Wirtz, but completely understandable given he’s had a knock.

Good finish from Isak, glad he’s properly off the mark!

Always find it strange when a lad - Gakpo - tees a player up like that, then the goal scorer - Isak - just ignores them when celebrating! He went straight passed him without even a glance 🤣

I get that people wanna see Ekitike, but he can’t tuck into midfield like Gakpo does if that’s who you’re swapping him for. However, if you’re gonna stick him left wing, do it when Salah isn’t also on the pitch.

The best thing about Wirtz is his movement. He doesn’t stop, constantly looking for space.

What on earth was Mac Allister doing there? I miss peak Macca

Is this the turning point where we just pivot to the future? Salah no longer the focus, build it all around Wirtz and Isak. That was the long term plan anyway.

If Liverpool don’t lose today, I could be in for the perfect Sunday. Straight after the match it’s the F1, followed by the Steelers this evening 🙏🏻

As soon as Alisson crashed into Gomez you knew he’d broken a rib or something.

Good insight as ever from Adam Clery. On the tactical side of things, the plan hasn’t changed, which is part of the problem. Opposition know how to exploit it (started to happen last season) and it’s being executed by players who are less effective at it youtu.be/igjrVHaRty0?si…

Why Liverpool Are Still Getting WORSE Under Arne Slot

Honestly, what I’d give for Joel Matip, Fabinho and Sadio Mane right now.

Regarding West Ham at the weekend, I don’t wanna see Konate, Mac Allister, Salah or Mamardashvili anywhere near it. I don’t care who has to come into the team.

There needs to be a serious inquest into Hughes and the transfer business. All that money on players the manager can’t get the best out of - and who don’t suit the style. Either Slot said yes, thinking he’s got a plan and he can’t execute it. Or they’ve just gone over his head.

The point about the press is spot on. Slot’s Feyernoord teams were among the top pressers in European football. You think about the lads we lost from last season, Diaz and Jota in particular, were great in the press. Salah, Ekitike, Isak and Gakpo are not. I don’t understand it
