SR 20 North Cascades Highway reopened this morning at 11 a.m. If you plan to drive over Rainy and Washington passes, please be prepared for winter weather, be sure to drive for conditions, and give our plows plenty of room to work. @wspd6pio
Our maintenance crews are getting SR 11/Chuckanut Drive ready for winter by clearing leaves, rocks and tree debris from the road and ditches. Expect alternating traffic between Blanchard Dr and the Skagit/Whatcom county line until about 3p today near Bow as this work wraps up.

Higher astronomical tides are coming this week, namely Wednesday & Thursday. The highest tides will be focused along the outer coast. Additional storm systems moving in can compound coastal flooding from the tides. Stay tuned to the forecast for updates. #wawx

I-90 EB Snoqualmie Pass MP 47 (Denny Creek) closed due to vehicle spinouts blocking roadway and adverse weather conditions. Est. reopening time not determined. @WSDOT_East @wspd6pio
UPDATE #4: WB I-90 has REOPENED near Cle Elum following the removal of the damaged Bullfrog Road overpass. Crews worked nonstop overnight so we could reopen I-90 earlier than expected. Our bridge engineers are designing a new WB overpass. We'll keep you posted on next steps!
UPDATE #3: WSDOT and contractor crews made great progress overnight, removing the damaged westbound Bullfrog Road overpass. With the span now removed, crews are clearing debris from the demolition site. Target is still to reopen the westbound lanes by early next week.

SR 410 Chinook Pass & SR 123 Cayuse Pass will close for the season Friday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. ❄️ Up to 3 feet of snow forecasted Friday through Monday with continued winter weather into next week.

UPDATE: I-90 remains closed WB at Exit 80 near Cle Elum after an oversized load struck the overpass. Travelers are being detoured around the closure at Exit 80 via the off- and on-ramp. Crews will be out today to assess the damage. @wspd6pio are investigating.
