❝ I would not. ❞ She confirmed, now starting to look around. Excitement peaked once more. ❝ When will we be there? ❞ Aurora asked joyfully, going on to take more looks at the environment.

❝ You know, if it were yesterday would’ve completely disagreed. But now, I don’t think adventures are as scary as I first thought. At least, not when I’m with an /expert/.❞ The journey was indeed half the fun of the adventure, she hasn’t even asked when they’ll get there.

She /was/ taken by surprise by the sudden action, but a smile still remained, a brief giggle following after. ❝ You never seize to amaze me with your words, nor do they ever go unappreciated. ❞

Aurora paused, she really didn’t think that through. She hadn’t really given anyone a nickname, so this might take a minute. Something that also shows personality and enthusiasm. ❝ . . Oh! What about “My favourite charm”? Like we discussed previously?❞

This was responded to with yet another smile, she agreed. Charisma was a brilliant trait, and an admirable one too. You could say it was rare, which makes it special. ❝ Of course. So, should I have a nickname for you then?❞

❝ Oh, you don’t have to be. I’m just saying that formalities aren’t needed. I don’t really mind what you address me as.❞ Giving a reassuring smile, she nodded just a little bit.

❛ . . I really do wish I met you earlier. Maybe then I wouldn’t be so scared of everything. But at least we’re here now. You can address me as Aurora, and please don’t feel the need to treat me different due to my title.❜

Right from the second he mentioned an adventure, Aurora knew he was interested in said adventures. It was interesting, going to a new place, exploring, and that sense of risk that adds a thrill to it all. ❝ . . What got you into adventures?❞

The sad part is that he thinks he might be forgotten. But Aurora knew that if she would remember anyone it would be him. He’s one in a million, and she liked that about him, he was unique. ❝ You sure are the expert if I’ve ever met one. ❞

❝ In all honesty, Flynn. You may not know it but you really have done a lot. You didn’t even /have/ to take me on this adventure, but you chose to, it’s above an beyond. I don’t even think I would’ve gotten this far by myself. And yet with all this you still remain so kind.❞

❝ Thank you for being that much considerate, though. ❞ God, she really should stop thanking, the last think she wants is to come off as annoying. ❝ You’re an angel. ❞

Thankfully, she didn’t have any reminder of the sort, as it was only her pinky and not her index finger. Aurora was quite confused on why he said this, but quickly understood. ❝ Oh, don’t worry, I’m perfectly fine.❞ If it were her index finger, it would be a different story.

❝ Pinky promise? ❞ She’d look at him as if he was speaking a different language, tilting her head slightly. The blonde looked down at the extended finger, and soon gave a nod. ❝ Oh, I knew that. ❞ With a giggle following, she lifted a pinky and locked it with the other’s.

Aurora still had her doubts, but trusted the man over all, he had no reason to lie to her anyway. A pause was left between the two, but it was not for long, as she spoke yet again. ❝ Well, do promise that if there is something bothering you, to talk to me?❞

If there’s one thing that Aurora was, it was observant, and she definitely noticed the hesitation. This brought worry to the princess, a small frown being left in the process. ❝ . . Are you sure? ❞ She’d only ask this, knowing it’s really none of her business.

He was really doing so much just to lift a smile, and that made her more than happy. But, she wished she could help /him/. ❝ .. Pardon me but, is there anything /you’re/ worried about, Flynn?❞ After helping Aurora with her troubles, she could at least try to return the favor.

❝ Thank you, for everything, especially the support. I didn’t know I needed it until now.❞ And she didn’t just say this to be nice, she meant it, very much so. She meant everything she told him, even the small things.

Her smile grew into a more sincere one, the faintest tint of red on her very face. She didn’t realise it before, but /she/ was the reason she didn’t go on any adventures, not with the thought of Maleficent still present. And yet, he managed to chase away most of those feelings.

Taking a deep breath and exhaling,in an effort to calm down, the princess paused. His words really meant something to her, she was definitely glad she met him. Her eyes soon set on the theif once more, that same smile appearing on her face once more. ❝ You’re a blessing. ❞

A look of reluctance flew over Aurora. She had actually been fearing the event of her, Maleficent, coming back. The fear was subconscious, she didn’t even know she had this fear until she spoke about it. ❝ I’m trying to get over it, I really am.❞
