This AI wave is a rollercoaster of emotions for me - excitement mixed with occasional moments of depression. How do you handle it as a developer? #AI #developer

Feeling inspired to start a new side-project after a long break! Any suggestions on where to begin? Time to brainstorm #laravel #sideproject

Generally, I prefer Github flow. Git flow is only necessary for medium to large developer teams or if you need to have multiple functional versions

What git branching strategy do you use? #git - Git Flow - GitHub Flow - GitLab Flow

Have you heard of the "composer bump" command? Ever since I discovered it, I feel the need to execute it. It just feels right. #webdevelopment #laravel

I always keep my "composer.json" file updated with the latest versions of dependencies. To do this, I use the "composer bump" command which increases the minimum version requirement in my "composer.json" file, avoiding accidental downgrades of my dependencies. 🐘

Just spent the day updating a client's app running on PHP 5.3 🙃 Thought it would take me weeks, but tried out @rectorphp for the first time and it looks promising. If you haven't checked it out yet, highly recommend giving it a try. #php

People making AI startups seem to be stumbling over each trying to add every single new AI tech/feature/paper that comes out into their app first thinking it'll make a massive difference for customers But not sure if customers even notice so much, they just want a problem solved

Just read some tweets bashing the use of native PHP types with the release of Laravel 10. Can't wrap my head around why they see it as a problem instead of a huge improvement. #Laravel #php

Like the post says, managing multiple routes can be a hassle. Personally, I like to simplify the process by automatically loading all files and forgetting about the RouteServiceProvider. For example, having the route files in the "routes/web/" directory. #Laravel

Just spent a week working on an old project, updating it left and right. Refactors, fixing errors thanks to #larastan, optimizing some query performance... Honestly, I find it kinda relaxing and satisfying to do these tasks from time to time. #Laravel #webdeveloper

yay 🎉 Time to upgrade some projects! Can't wait to dive into the Laravel Pennant feature flag package #Laravel

🎉 We are proud to announce the release of Laravel 10! Laravel 10 is packed with new and improved features, including: ✔️ Types for the application skeleton and starter kits. ✔️ The Process facade — process management with wonderful DX. ✔️ Laravel blog.laravel.com/laravel-v10-re…

Working on long-term client projects, I often run into the issue of convincing them to cut unused features, do refactors and update dependencies, not to mention testing. They just want new features. Has it ever happened to you? #programming #projectmanagement
