This is a Lines and Lofting department. You can tell from the ducks and splines. I started my career at the LaL department of @Boeing @dehavillandAIR Canada in Downsview @Toronto. We still had ducks left around for paperweights! Fun fact, the departments were so named because

I'm all in for friendly co-opetition with China on the Lunar human programs. May the best program win, for 'all humankind'
China is making progress in its lunar program. If their “by 2030” plan to land crew on the Moon succeeds, a lot of people will be surprised. But in reality the signs were there all along. Speed, simplicity, and focus behind a strong industrial base. Worth watching closely.

Just under two months ago China conducted an abort system test of their manned lunar capsule named Mengzhou and now today performed a landing test of their Lanyue lunar lander. China is taking their manned lunar program seriously.
I've always loved this image of your @AJamesMcCarthy Thank you again for taking it! I was a designer on the Starboard 1 and Port 1 radiator systems, which one can make out clearly here. And am the founder and CEO of The Extraterrestrial Mining Company, and we are looking at
We’re still just at the beginning of our journey into the great beyond
You've got my attention @Peter_J_Beck and @RocketLab Go on.
Crewtron is so peak, i really hope they move forward with it Beck said that since neutron's diameter is so large they can easily extend the tanks to get a HLV, maybe you can even get a moon capsule out of it

It's really hard to think of something more badass than doing a cannonball off the side of a SpaceX Dragon into the Pacific Ocean.
Love this @Skyrora_Ltd rocket, and its clearly high-vis homage to the Black Arrow program, with its 'lipstick rocket' from the early days of the US-USSR space race. #adlunametastra #xmc #theextraterrestrialminingcompany youtube.com/watch?v=FHBGAy…

China is hitting its milestones for Taikonaut landings by 2029, 80th Anniversary of the CCP victory over the Nationalists that escaped to Taiwan. Given the speed that their space program has caught up to, and in many ways, exceeded that of the 'Western' world -- I suspect they

My 8-track collection in 1977 included the number one song 'Tonight's the Night' by the incredible Rod Stewart. I like to imagine that V'ger 1 is listening to that track on her way out of the solar system. And aliens, when they discover her will wonder what this wonderful sound
While we’re still figuring out life on Earth, Voyager 1 is 15 billion miles away, cruising on 69KB, an 8-track, and 1977s Fortran like it’s nothing.
Incredible article by @galopujacy_jez on the Zarya 'Super Soyuz' follow-on to Soyuz system and Mir 2.0 space station with truss that never came to be. I was a young engineer in 1992 at McDonnell Douglas Space Systems Company in Huntington Beach working on the pre-integrated

A complete Honor for The Extraterrestrial Mining Company (XMC). I'm very much looking forward to discussing lunar resources and how they will 'fuel' tomorrow's technologies -- including neutron detectors, medical imaging, quantum refrigeration and nuclear fusion -- with
This. This was my life when I started in Lines and Lofting at the @Boeing de Havilland Canada factory in Downsview Canada, just North of Toronto. Working as a young designer on the Dash-8 300A project. It was quite a shock to the system, as CAD was just being introduced. There
