We have had an exciting week. We have been looking at 3D shapes. Looking for birds in our forest and playground. We have Celebrated Chinese New Year and ended with a well being afternoon.
A lovely week! We have found stars all around school asking us to do fun things such as ,do jumps and compliment our friends. We looked for the missing owl as well . We made Christingels and finished our Christmas craft. Merry Christmas to you all and a Healthy New Year 🎄
Another busy week in Class 5. We ' ve made maps of our Village Trail and made snowflakes in the outside classroom. We have started our Taith Advent making our own Advent Wreath.
A great walk around our Village. Everyone was really well behaved and enjoyed finding out about the interesting places in our Village.
We 've had a fabulous week ! We started with Maths and thought about how we could be kind to everyone. We tried our own rickshaw challenge. For Pudsey Day we have joined Joe Wicks and have done our Dance a thon. We have coloured pictures and created our own 3 D Pudsey
A damp week outside, but we still managed to make pictures of animal creatures and their homes. We found our art materials outside. It was fun looking for them😃🪵🌿🍀🪨 See you all refreshed on Tuesday.
We had fun testing the bubble wands we made and playing with the bubbles today.
What an exciting day, we had huge smiles when we saw the ice cream van had come to visit our school! 🍦🍦🍦

Yesterday we had a little ceremony for Mrs Thomas in the hall. The children read out a poem they had written (with a little help from Mrs Harrison) and sang a song. We will miss you Mrs Thomas!
Please could all children in year 1 bring in a strong carrier bag with their name on tomorrow. They can bring books home in them for you to have a look at. Many thanks Year 1 Team

Last week we had the most amazing music lesson with Mrs Morris. We loved hearing her play the oboe and learnt about how music can help our well-being. #hvcscreativecontributors #hvcshealthyandconfident #wellbeingweek

For our well being week, we showed our talent to the class. We had some amazing singers, gymnasts, artist and builders to name a few. #hvcsambitiousandcapable
Thank you to everyone who donated to Nightingale House Hospice. Year 1 were amazing all week running 5k and we loved dressing up as our lockdown heroes today. #hvcsethicalandinformed
