@GOQii has built an ecosystem around this for years; with the billions of data points they’d be sitting on today, I assume they can pretty much “recommend what to eat acc to body type etc” .. @vishalgondal @garrytan

This won't work accurately outside the US. Most definitely not in Asia.
Being able to speculate exactly what the product is from the name bodes well for consumer software
The app says - “Use your phone to take a picture of any meal and a real live nutrition expert will label your food plate for you” Not ai. A “real live expert”
“What if I told you there is an app in the market” first thing that came into my mind

still skeptical—oils and hidden emulsions are calorically dense and are usually occluded from view a lidar sensor makes no difference here. you need high-res hyperspectral and even then I doubt it works for many foods
