i feel like if YC was optimizing for hardware more they could have much more impact by having a warehouse full of manufacturing and prototyping tools like 3d printers, CNCs, laser cutters, welders, etc and just space to build
We are solving for this! The goal is to build ‘fully automated sheet metal fabs in shipping containers’ in India, ship to the US, unbox and start services there.
As robot hardware is being commodified, it wouldn’t make sense to employ humans in dull, dangerous and dirty tasks anymore. And factories will start moving towards “lights-out production” soon. And corporations would start prefering suppliers who are automated, due to obvious…
