Everything post-pandemic has been a reference to the past. We’ll look back at this decade and realize it had no cultural identity besides a few short-lasting trends
unfortunately i will mourn what this show could have been forever
i love how the documentary proves that this failure of a season was the duffers’ full responsibility. they were aware of the plot holes, that the scripts were rushed and there was a lot of pressure and yet they refused any input from the actors and writers because of their egos
even tho conformitygate is fake asf i am really glad it exists because i hope the duffers are embarrassed a lil extra
i'm gonna be honest i didn't like the yellow coloring in dimension x, color theory is important when you're telling a story and adding warm tones to a place that's supposed to be "cold", "lonely" and "scary" is visually confusing
worst part about the finale being shitty is that this show has genuinely had a cultural AND personal impact for so long. but now it will forever be remembered as another netflix original that started out great and then decreased in quality over time until it was complete garbage
at this point entire series happened off-screen
Gaten Matarazzo says Dustin and Suzie might have broken up off-screen.
And in the end it was all a FUCKING COINCIDENCE, none of the foreshadowing ever meant anything, the subtext wasn’t subtext it was bad writing, oh and they queerbaited the living fuck out of everyone and probably even Noah and Finn generationalfumble
the saddest part is how the duffers ended up not understanding their own show at all. like we never wanted the seasons to be ”bigger” than the ones before. we just wanted this.
“no question will be left unanswered” and i keep thinking of more with every passing minute
he truly and honestly was insane for this whole performance
They kinda lost the coziness and that’s the biggest loss. Look at those sets, that forest, those clothes…
to me, season 1 genuinely felt like a realistic drama/psychological thriller, now it feels more like a disney channel original movie with an insane budget
comparing scenes from season 1 and now season 5 feels like watching two completely different shows
and why is el SO BLANK this season wheres her happiness her hope her love her anger her sadness its all just 😐
i miss when stranger things was a show made for adults
