Autistic children's play is often criticised and framed as 'wrong' because they might play differently. They might take apart toys to see how they work or line them up because that brings them joy. But instead of recognising this as a difference, it is seen as a deficit.
I need allistics to get that these videos/posts are not ever saying "if you do X you're autistic" or "x is a symptom of autism" and moreso "I'm autistic and I do this and I KNOW it has something to do with my autism"
