AI will expose your company before it empowers it. It exposes: • Systems held together by Excel sheets, hopes and prayer • Whether you actually embrace new tech or just talk about it • Data living in 47 different silos that don't talk to each other • Your security layer (or…

I am excited to announce that I am launching a new venture, Argo IQ, as Cofounder and CTO.  We have been accepted into the Forum Ventures accelerator and landed some awesome angel investors as well. What comes with it: • $150K up front • A network of real operators • Access…

X has gone full Kurzweil. The Singularity is Near seems prophetic at this point.

"Software will be a commodity, like electricity, and it will run directly in the LLM layer." What does that even mean? I’ll break it down in detail (long post incoming 🍿) and once you finish there won’t be any middle ground. You’ll either reject the idea completely (and be…

Powerful for people who have experienced being underestimated.

What are you defiant about? One thing I see in the .01%, is some amount of defiance - an absolute refusal to allow anyone to define what they can do in this world. So I wrote: "You're not built for this" about the power of being underestimated. drgurner.substack.com/p/youre-not-bu…

Power dynamics between engineering and product never lead to good outcomes. Toxicity has to go

I spent 3 years working with an engineering team that openly despised product managers. Every interaction felt like negotiating with someone who wanted me to fail. Here's what that toxic dynamic taught me about when to fight and when to walk away: 1/17

Thermodynamic Intelligence: First Contact 10.29.25

Wouldn’t it be amazing to wake up one day and realize that the greatest countries on earth are working together to propel humanity forward to a better future?

It’s time for a next gen laser tag franchise

Wow, n8n is pretty cool

A solution to reduce LLM hallucination: more deterministic software. Break tasks into smaller parts to boost LLM accuracy by reducing complexity. Structured knowledge + token prediction = better reliability.

AI was supposed to save us from UIs like this. Which is why we bet on a pure natural language interface for Replit’s agent builder. Visualization is there for debugging and understanding, not building.

OpenAI says that Codex wrote most of the UI code for their their new agent builder the ui is a hot garbage fire. it makes sense now.

Why use confluence or notion for documentation when you can just use v0? Vibe coding documentation has been much faster for me than the old way of writing and linking docs in a rigid opinionated system.

Here is a counterintuitive lesson from building agents: The prompt is often more important than the system's architecture. I've always been obsessed with breaking down my system into the proper number of agents and assigning responsibilities correctly, but the biggest gains in…
