Day 59 of #100daysofcode took an already created bootstrap blog and combined it with flask to serve up blog entries pulled from an API. Interesting to see how this all comes together.
I'm revisiting #100daysofcode in Python after skipping around a lot. We used bootstrap on Day 58 to make a fake website for dog tinder. Bootstrap was used for the navbar, carousel, columns. Interesting but chaotic after learning BEM. kifzig.github.io/day58_python_b…
I started a Software Engineering bootcamp back in Jan. and have really learned a lot about doing html/css in a professional and contemporary way. Here's the last project that I've done: kifzig.github.io/se_project_aro… Onto Javascript!
I'm behind on my #100daysofcode in Python posts. This is day 57 where I used Flask, SQLite, html to build some URLs that access a agify and genderize API when you give it a name in the URL.
Graduating from #nucamp backend devops tonight! Thankful for everything I learned with everyone. Excited to learn more. #python #WomenWhoCode
Just finished the nucamp Devops with Python course and am now finished with the whole bootcamp for Backend Devops. 🙌
Day 56 of #100DaysOfCode with Python. We downloaded a free web template from html5up to use with the Flask server and modified it to create a business card site. The background image is from unsplash. This was super doable. Just need to learn how to get it to the cloud. 🙂
I just finished day 55 of #100DaysOfCode where we created where we created URL route decorators for a high/low guessing game. You can see the guess in the URL. Baby steps to understanding Flask.
Just finished Day 54 of #100daysofcode and it covered how to start a simple Flask web server and how to create your own Python decorators. @yu_angela makes everything so easy to understand. Thank you!
Just finished the first part of Nucamp's Back End, SQL, and DevOps with Python bootcamp. I had a great teacher. Excited for the next steps after Memorial Day.
Day 47 of #100DaysOfCode. With BeautifulSoup, we made an Amazon Price alert that checks the price of a favorite product on Amazon and then send an email when the price drops.
Just finished Day 46 of #100DaysOfCode where we made a playlist using BeautifulSoup scraping of Billboard and then took that list to the Spotify API using spotipy to create a playlist.
Just finished day 45 of #100DaysOfCode in python with an introduction to webscraping with BeautifulSoup. I actually jumped around and did day 48 with Selenium to figure out how to do a work project. These libraries are really useful for far.
Just finished Day 44 of #100DaysOfCode. It was a long one that went over CSS in-depth as part of a html/css detour before a beautiful soup introduction. Here is my little website hosted on github: kifzig.github.io/intro/
Still trucking along with #100DaysOfCode in Python. Just finished day 43--within a mini-series focused on HTML and CSS. It was a good refresher and covered tag, id, and class selectors.
Day 42 of #100DaysofCode is finished. It was day 2 of html. Tomorrow is css. Can't wait to see how this works with Python.
Downloaded and did a quick intro to PowerBI today. It's good to see some more options for visualization.
Finished Day 41 of #100DaysofCode, which was an introduction to HTML sans CSS. It was a good review. We made a little personal webpage.
Just finished days 39 and 40 of #100DaysOfCode, a flight price tracker. Lots of great API practice. Looking forward to the mini-series on web development next.
Also, with learning about the APIs, I'm learning that I may be using REST APIs and there may be some better ways to work with these such as Postman, which I may need to check out in the future. #WomenWhoCode #100DaysOfCode
