Apparently I created my Twitter account 15 years ago …

I enjoyed the "Dungeons & Dragons" movie a whole lot more than I expected. Best movie I've seen in a long time. I'm a nerd.

Thinking of picking up Twitter again, I mean, how bad could it be?

Funny story. Comcast broke my internet, after three week of debugging, I replaced their Xfinity router with a self owned Netgear. Problems solved, except oddly enough this increases my monthly cost by $10. Comcast bundling is strange.

Well, I haven’t been using Twitter in a long time, but here’s Leify! I’m still torn on all this Social Media stuff though … So, what should I do ? Facebook purely for family (because they are too lame to use e.g. Slack), and Twitter for keeping up with the world of nerds?

Is there a (commercial) alternative to @1Password that can import my iCloud stored wallet? I absolutely hate that they switched to a subscription model, rather than just letting my buy the Apps (which I gladly do). I *really* do not want my passwords in their storage.

It's pretty annoying that I pay top $ to get 1Gbps internet with @Xfinity , yet, I have the same 1TB data cap as everyone paying less. And they want $50/month in addition to what I already pay. Very tempted to cancel our other Xfinity services (TV, phone, and security).

Many thanks to @GoDaddy for their very generous donation of additional system resources for our CI system! Our CI is cranking out hundreds of builds on a daily basis, every Github PR is tested on 8 different builds before they can be merged. ci.trafficserver.apache.org

Trying to build Envoy proxy, it uses a (Google?) tool called Bazel. None of the Linux systems I use have Bazel, not Fedora28. And I prefer not to enable random YUM repos…. I dislike autoconf as much as anyone else, but come on. Everything doesn’t have to be reinvented, poorly.

Well, it seems twitter is still semi-relevant, I guess mainly because tech people still hang here. So giving it a second try.

After several long nights of fighting cmake and build Ninja, I finally got Swift to build on Fedora. Not pretty, but it works.

I know I'm probably the only of my friends old enough to run Emacs. But, this came in handy to fix .emacs slowness: emacswiki.org/emacs/ProfileD…

(cont) But I'll use Twitter purely for "business", and Facebook for family and close friends. So don't be offended if I don't Friend on FB.

Well, I'm back... Twitter does have some value, particularly for following influential people. In this day of age, have to stay informed.

Nice, arrived 1h early in SFO, @united promptly put me on the next flight to DEN, saving 2.5h wait. Thanks!
