Fr I paid last year organising the #30daysopensource challenge, cuz I’m just lazy to migrate and the event blew up unexpectedly Costed me ~$150 in the end I think

Updates for #20DaysOfReact and #30daysopensource challenges: Live again now at depths.so/events. Some optimisations were made on the data and api side, so now the pages should load much faster. JS bundle size were also insanely large before, so we moved a lot of logics…

And while I was at it, I also completed #30DaysOpenSource and #hacktoberfest 🍺 I've contributed to Open-Source, improved my GitHub profile and filed it with nice statistics to look at 🤣. I've read countless articles, a few books and a lot of code. 📚 #code #learn #read #win

Completing each day is not easy, so people are willing to share their Ws with others to keep motivated. So, my whole timeline was full of #30DaysOpenSource throughout the October.

The flywheel began. We see over 500 different posts mentioning us and tagging #30DaysOpenSource every single day. You might be thinking: what SaaS did you used for the invite code & waitlist automation? The answer is: we didn't use any. I did it all manually. Yeah, why? 😅

3 months ago, I launched #30DaysOpenSource learning challenge in @depthsHQ. It went viral and brought us: - 4k waitlist sign ups in 5 days - 1M social media impression - 600% user growth. The best part is: we spent only 10 days from idea to launch. Here's how (a mega thread):
