It was a pleasure to chat to Ted Murphy for this week's #50YearsofOpera. Ted worked in the Stage team at ENO for 35 years before heading over to our friends at @operahollandpk to be their Production Manager. We loved hearing his memories of some of our most loved productions!


The brilliant Katherine Sayer has worked in the Development department of English National Opera since 2002 and she's seen lots of changes to the London Coliseum in her time here! #50YearsofOpera


For week 39 of #50YearsofOpera, we sat down with the wonderful Graeme Danby, who has sung in over one thousand performances (!) as a principal singer for English National Opera, to hear about a few of his favourite roles.


We sat down with our brilliant ENO Chorus Master James Henshaw to hear about a few of his favourite London Coliseum highlights and how getting to work with our award-winning Chorus is the biggest highlight of all. #50YearsofOpera


We loved chatting with Nicholas Hytner who started off his illustrious theatre and film-directing career as a staff producer at English National Opera. His production of Xerxes has been a real highlight of ENO's history! #50YearsofOpera


For week 42 of #50YearsofOpera we spoke to our Head of Music, Martin Fitzpatrick, about some of his favourite memories from the past 14 years, including #ENOPorgy which opened last week!

We loved chatting with @RachelOyawale for week 44 of #50YearsofOpera. Rachel started off as a member of our #ENOBaylis Youth Programme and is now on stage singing in the chorus of #ENOPorgy and #ENORequiem later this year!


For our penultimate #50YearsofOpera we are looking to the future of ENO and what we have to look forward to in the coming year. @VPeleggi is our Sir Charles Mackerras Conducting Fellow for #ENO1819 and #ENO1920 and it was a pleasure to hear about her passion for her work.
