#AB1248 by @ib2_real and @BenAllenCA, which would have required independent redistricting commissions (IRCs) of larger local govs, was vetoed. Given all the local redistricting scandals this past cycle, it is likely the piecemeal approach of state-imposed IRCs will continue.
