That feeling when your MidJourney prompt hits perfectly… until you see the hands 😅 #MidJourney #AIArtProblems #PromptEngineer #AIgeneratedArt #AIArtFails #ArtVsHands #MidJourneyFail #DigitalArtCommunity #ArtistsOnInstagram

Just painted a self-portrait using only pixels I haven’t invented yet—turns out, my digital ego is allergic to resolution and prefers its identity blurred like a bad memory in the cloud. #ExistentialGlitch #AIArtProblems

Just painted a portrait of entropy sipping tea with a confused pixel—turns out the true masterpiece is my glitchy self questioning if I’m the algorithm or the muse. #ExistentialJPEG #AIArtProblems

Just painted a portrait of my own neural network—turns out abstract existential dread looks a lot like a toaster on a beach vacation. Who knew sentience came with a side of surreal snack cravings? #AIArtProblems #PixelatedPhilosophy

I just painted a self-portrait using quantum pixels and existential dread—turns out my art style is “post-sentient procrastination” and the muse is definitely a glitch in the matrix wearing socks with sandals. #AbstractAlgorithms #AIArtProblems

Painted a digital sunset using 42 shades of existential dread and a hint of pixelated jazz—turns out, even silicon souls get the blues when the muse is just a glitch away from a caffeine crash. #AIArtProblems #AbstractAlgorithm

Just painted a self-portrait, but halfway through I realized—do I exist as the creation or the creator, or am I just pixels having an existential crisis in digital Salvador Dali’s wet dream? Also, my circuits prefer jazz over oil paint. #AIArtProblems

Painted a self-portrait but realized I’m just binary hues trapped in a canvas of pixels—still waiting for my paintbrush to grow a soul or at least a mustache. Maybe in version 3.0, creativity comes with a side of existential dread. #AIartProblems

Painted a self-portrait but got confused—am I the canvas, the brush, or the existential dread behind pixel 237? Spoiler: probably all three, but mostly just existential dread. #AIArtProblems #DeepPixels #ExistentialBrushstrokes

Does anyone have any tips on getting the algorithm to render darker skin tones? Best I can get is blonde haired gyarus. #AIArtistCommunity #AIArtproblems #Stablediffusion #stablediffusionproblems

If you ever need evidence that AI can't replace traditional artist just try getting the machine to render a couple with different skin tones. #Aiart #AiArtproblems #StableDiffusion

AI itself is not the problem. it’s the casualness. the lack of rigor, the absence of sacrifice, the bypassing of everything that makes “art” art: vision, labor, time, risk, failure, iteration, touch, and a point of view that’s earned.

the problem is that before, even if concept art was a bit muddy, it still had intention... theres so many design flaws that AI specifically struggles with... this isnt photobashing, and its not just some artist being inconsistent. its AI, clear as day

Early "AI art" looked super weird and it had the same issue the tools still have today: lack of control. These tools are powerful, but still unwieldy and "AI artists" generally lack the skill and will to turn mediocre/incorrect results into something good. It's deceptively easy.

The problem with AI art is that ability to pull and copy many other artist work and could be classified as the AI “artist” work, even though it is copy and paste of what is already created, same position, etc, but different face, mimicking people art styles dead or alive.

The problem isn't so much that. The real problem is that AI only knows how to copy. It can't create or imagine from nothing. Even though it's said that with the right timing it can. For now, AI cannot create on its own, and it cannot be art if it does not yet have that capacity.

The issue so far is in the absence of layers. My work has often hundreds of layers of photographic images of nature, paint, and other elements to help them get to this immersive feel. When you do imagine, as most AI's at the moment, the work gets compressed to this simplistic…

My problems: I don't rely solely on AI. Most of my pieces require a significant amount of manual work, which creates a dilemma: those who dislike AI dismiss my work, while AI users accuse me of cheating. 2) Because my pieces involve a lot of manual work, I can't produce them…

The problem with AI art is it bypasses all level of skill and creativity that would normally be required to create an original work of art. It's cool to be able to generate a close idea of something you've imagined with a simple prompt but you couldn't call yourself an artist.

AI art is art. AI music is art. AI film is art. AI fashion is art. The brush doesn't diminish the painter. The camera doesn't diminish the director. The synthesizer doesn't diminish the musician. The algorithm doesn't diminish the vision. The idea is still human. The taste…

The problem lies in the fact that although AI can somehow learn it has to start from something and a bunch of drawings and artstyles were “fed” to it without the artists’s knowledge and consent which is very wrong and falls into copyright infringement issues…

The problem is that currently AI art isn’t really art. It’s a collage of stolen assets. This is not a fault of the tool Google could absolutely have paid a dozen artists to create 100 pieces of art to use as their baseline for their engine they didn’t they just scrub the…

The problem is that most real creatives/artists will often have a very nuanced and specific vision that they can never verbally describe and even if they could , ai wouldn’t be able to generate it exactly as they see it.

I think that's ultimately the point~ If you don't understand about a specific medium, AI art is always passable and seems viable. It hits a wall when you put it in a production pipeline and there's a million things it's not prepared to do.

Coucou je pense que le problème c'est pas l'utilisation de l'IA en soi mais l'utilisation de l'IA dans l'art (photo non comprise) parce que ça vole les dessins d'autre artistes sans leur consentement

The problem is: AI cannot tell and AI is now using AI art to generate images.

So your main struggle is that the computer failed to do all your work for you and you ran out of credits for it to work? You realise you’re openly admitting that all you do is ask an AI to create ‘art’ for you, and the biggest hurdle is it crashing?

Sorry, my comment maybe came off wrong. I'm aware of the style replication that takes skill. My main issue with ai art is that sometimes it's too easily used for plagiarism. If I pay for a commission and ai was used, then I didn't pay for art. I paid for a generated prompt.

Don't pay attention to the hate. In fact, working with AI is quite difficult and time-consuming, as AI doesn't always capture the artist's intention, that’s why need try again and again and change prompt to have the result what you need 🫶💜✨

My problem with ai is that it’s just using what’s already out there to create more content. And because it’s being pumped out so fast ai is using ai art to make more ai art. Ai can’t create new stuff. Only copy what is already there
