I'm reminded of @kerri_clement's #ASEH2018 paper. Yellowtail's use of TB & Perch in the same herd was controversial, but actually mimicked (and sped up) the breeding patterns of the Remount. He looked past the lack of similarity in F1.

Absolutely! I went to a @SHAFRhistorians meeting before I was on twitter and then @AHAhistorians post-twitter, and the difference was huge. It makes connecting with people at big conferences way less intimidating (also mega jealous you got to #ASEH2018!) #twitterstorians101
