thats not how binaries work, though. in the binary system there's only 1s and 0s, and in every other numerical system theres more numbers so theyre all non-binary, but lumping them all together makes no sense

You can make anything into a binary if you're stupid enough about it. Everyone either has or has not ever drunk orange juice. That's a logically true binary. But it's also useless and means nothing. Non-binary isn't some claim to be above any possible binaries, it simply... (1/2)

そもそもScalaに.toBinaryStringがあるの知らんかったな・・・ #scala_waiwai

Guess what, when you put something into Binary and "Non-binary" it makes it Binary again.... bi- derived from 2.

The definition of binary precludes the addition of semi. Don't know what to say. 1984.

What in the hell is a "non-demi curious, semi binary" relationship?

With binary (base 2) 1 added to itself is 10

Here, you seemed to say that binary code is binary because each bit takes one of two values (0,1). No? x.com/HarrisBolus/st… If any sex takes one of two values (M, F), why not call it binary?

This is a bizarre confusion of language as well as confusion about facts. I don’t know if there’s a fallacy name for it aside from equivocation. It would have been better to say that strings of code may be called binary if each position is binary, meaning /

Understood. Then I will go with the third option, which obviously is not a binary, but a ternary.

Took sometime to merge it, but now you can expect smaller binaries :)

Anchor init's binary is 182kb. Every byte costs money Every binary includes 86kb for uploading IDLs onchain. With program metadata program, we don't need these anymore S/O to @0x_arthurbretas for the 56% byte reduction in base binary We're entering Anchor's optimization era

I heard you like using static typing, and so do I. Use static typing to manipulate binaryninja and write native plugin ! github.com/tinysec/binary…

There’s nothing wrong with binary. Try 01000110 01101001 01100100 01101111 It’s ASCII, but still traditional.

Don’t use binary. Use hexadecimal. It’s a lot more progressive

It adds the binary data of the file to the bof args. sliver.sh/docs?name=BOF+…

Your humor aside... "Binary" is a system that can express any natural number as the sum of powers of two. It alone has that property.

and the out of bounds one too, it doesn't have to be binary

We should really be using binary by now. Life would be so much easier technically. "Honey, how many people are coming tonight?" "One zero one one my dear."

i didn't view the image, i didn't read the quote. i saw "adding a 2 and it's still binary"
