IT’S ALIVE!! We have Missile Command on a no keyboard boot and the “READY” prompt with the keyboard attached. Ran the internal diagnostics and all checks good. Hooked up the SIO2SD and a successful load. Very Happy. #retrocomputing #atari #ataricomputer #atarixegs

Finally another day of sun and the difference the Sunbrighting did to the XEGS is pretty dramatic. The bulk of the yellowing is faded. The keyboard is brighter. The Reset button which looked brown has now got its purple color back. #retrocomputing #atari #ataricomputer #atarixegs

Oh WOW! What do we have here. One of the banks of 64K has been replaced by a bank of 256K. This 130XE has 320K. Nice! And the work is very well done. There are some very precise solders and snips. #retrocomputing #atari #ataricomputer #atari130xe #130xe

So other than C304 being cut on this board all looks good. The 320K mod is really well done. Does anyone know why C304 would be cut? It goes between Pin 5 (Data Out) of the SIO port to pin 28 (SOD) of the POKEY chip. #retrocomputing #atari #ataricomputer #atari130xe #130xe
