Core word of the week - STOP. Lots of stop & go games and activities, emphasizing the word/sign/symbol as it came up, a story with 'stop' repeated throughout and an opportunity to focus on some self advocacy phrases. #AAC #AugComm

I loved this idea a student's mum put on her device; various fun ways to say goodbye. I added them to my TD Snap and also used the 'script' action to have them pop out in a list. #AugComm #AAC #TDSnap

Animal sounds & Old MacDonald came up a lot last week. - We used symbols & communication boards - Students told me with eye gaze which sounds to make. - One student is really enjoying telling us to include people's names in song so instructed us with #TDSnap. 1/2 #AAC #AugComm

I was covering a class last minute. Grabbed my morning session box & put TD Snap on the class board. We sang, signed & talked about the date and weather. The photos show some of the multi-sensory resources we used to help us. #AAC #AugComm

We had great fun playing with Google Assistant in TD Snap! We used one device to give Google instructions & one to talk about what happened next. "Sing Happy Birthday" was a favourite & got us talking about when our birthdays are & how it was 'not' our birthdays today. #Augcomm

This student was repeating 'TD Snap Ceanna' so I swapped devices with him. He immediately went to folders on my TD Snap that he doesn't have, excitedly selected some phrases and animal sounds and then 'want/need.' Personalisation is so important! #AAC #AugComm #TDSnap

With this group we were playing the Cosmo 'All the same' activity by @_Filisia. We used communication boards, devices and Makaton signs to talk about the colours and go over the concept of making them the 'same.' #AugComm

I was chatting with a student when one of her classmates was being funny and silly. We couldn't find 'silly' on our devices so it was the perfect opportunity to show different ways to search for a word. We searched, spelled and explored some new words. #AugComm #AAC #TDSnap
