That last Arizona update also added 19,154 votes in #AZSen that broke 63%/33% for Democrat Ruben Gallego, increasing his lead over Republican Kari Lake by 5,662 votes to 53,822 and 1.8%.
Lake needs to be winning Yavapai by close to 40, not 23. Awful drop for her. This is virtually over in #AZSen

WATCHING Pima and Maricopa Counties are expected to post new results in #AZSEN by 7 pm AZ time. They could be decisive.
THE MATH 6 red AZ counties have 85,000 uncounted ballots. ▶️If Kari Lake wins those ballots at current 60% pace there, she'll NET 19,000 votes. ▶️If Ruben Gallego's Maricopa/Pima firewall holds, he'll NET 22,000, canceling Lake gains & he now has 69K-vote lead for insurance.
Ruben Gallego running 7 points ahead of Kamala Harris in #AZSen. Seems quite likely he'll hold on, even if Harris loses the state (as is looking likely right now). Might be the strongest performance of any swing-state Democratic candidate yet after controlling for incumbency.

Basically, @LeaderMcConnell decided to give up an #AZSen seat that his @MarthaMcSally lost in 2018; the previous time that Republicans picked up a net senate seats. The Machine then appointed McSally to the other seat which she lost in 2020 and is of course Trump's fault...
