So after @christianbute helped me solve this issue on Fedora 35, I tried replicating the fix on RHEL 9 beta, and, well... Bloody hell it's not working. My #BackToLinux Episode 2 will be late because of this, but at the same time, it will make Episode 3 more interesting!

I am playing Quake on a ThinkPad with no discrete GPU, on a stock Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (beta). In order to get this game working, I had to do... Basically nothing advanced. I installed Flathub, installed Steam flatpak, and voila! #BackToLinux Todd quote: It just works.

I am dual-booting during my #BackToLinux transition, of course, but I intentionally formatted all my storage (except where Windows sits) to Linux partition format so I cannot use it in Windows. This makes it easier for me to dual-boot less often.

Contrary to Elden Ring, #Warframe on Linux stutters a bit. Feels like a shader compilation thing. I will test different Proton versions to see if it's manageable, but overall it's as playable as Elden Ring on Windows is. #BackToLinux
