Our machinists are milling copper parts using one of our aerospace-grade Mazak 510Cs. Since copper 101 is prone to welding, we kept a close eye on the feed per tooth. While running a 3/8" tool we ran at 0.002 in/tooth and then ran the 1/2" tool at 0.0032 in/tooth. #bantamtools
After Curt Hammerly finished machining this prototype using the Desktop CNC Milling Machine, he put the unfired clay back into its mold, powered glaze into the mold, and then did a final firing that actually melts the glaze into this sweet-looking blue glass. #bantamtools #CNC
