Live service failed in #BattlefieldV, It failed again in #Battlefield2042, And sadly, it’s failing once more in #Battlefield6. That said, #Battlefield6 does have strong foundations. The core gunplay show real potential, and that’s what makes the current issues so frustrating.
This is why engagement/retention matters. Sure Battlefield 6 outsold Call of Duty this year -- but players don't stick around as long. If you release a live-service game, the service needs to be excellent and well prepared, with enough content.
