#BrainExplorers was created many years ago by 2nd year biomed student, now cancer researcher @Amira_etc , with colleagues Martina Mannion, Orlaith Mannion & Grainne Ni Bheolain as part of their @GalwayCKI project, in the module coordinated by Derek Morris.

Just saw this! Our @WMUMedicine #activecitizenship students teaching 7th graders about the brain as part of the #BrainExplorers program! @NeuroVixen @STEMadvocacy
WMU's Stryker School of Medicine visited today to work with our 7th graders learning about the brain. The learned about memorization & recall, how taste and vision work together, and were able to view the lobes of an actual sheep brain.
