On this day, Oct. 3, 1780, a small group of #MeckCounty patriots defeated an estimated 300 British soldiers in what became known as the Battle of McIntyre’s Farm. McIntyre’s 1769 farm cabin, which was off of Beatties Ford Rd, actually survived into the 20th century. #CltHistory

On this day, Oct. 3, 1780, a small group of #MeckCounty patriots defeated an estimated 300 British soldiers in what became known as the Battle of McIntyre’s Farm. McIntyre’s 1769 farm cabin, which was off of Beatties Ford Rd, actually survived into the 20th century. #CltHistory
