#ClassR1 love being outside. Yesterday we explored our playground and as it was really wet and muddy found some wiggly worms, spiders and woodlice. We also found some mushrooms and leaves and decided to make some mushroom soup in the mud kitchen. #outdoorfun #naturedetectives

This week in #classR1 we have loved learning about Remembrance Sunday we have had lots fun activities we made poppies using Lego, blocks create them on our craft table as well as make a poppy biscuits #remembrance #poppy

#classR1 loved exploring our school environment to look for signs of autumn. We then went back into class and discussed what we saw, touched and heard. We also talked about how it becomes dark earlier and how some animals hibernate.

#classR1 had lots fun on our yard this morning we used the chalk to create fireworks 🎆 the children said they are excited to see all the fireworks 🎇 on Wednesday

#classR1 #classR1 have loved learning and celebrating Diwali this week we ended the week having a party we even had some glow sticks the children loved seeing them light up in the dark

#classR1 we have really enjoyed Maths lessons this week we have been learning how to match and sort objects we used a variety of different objects, our class was so good at this and we had lots fun @Monksdownmaths2

#classR1 have had a scrumptious day today, we had lots of fruit which the children chose and then cut up themselves they then enjoyed eating there fruit salad for snack 🍏🍇🍓🥭🍉🫐🍍🍌

We were so lucky to see a visitor on our playground today, we decided he must be looking for acorns so have left some out for him. Hopefully he comes back. #classR1
