Local families recently helped us sow nearly 1600 acorns. 🌱 All being well, that’s 1600 native oak trees that will be growing in our #CommunityTreeNurseries next year, which will be planted in our woodland creation schemes. It was a mucky, hectic, wonderful afternoon!

We were so excited to see the saplings in our #CommunityTreeNurseries being watered by ACTUAL rain yesterday! As wonderful as sunshine is for the soul, we could do with a few more showers to top up our rivers, water the plants, and provide wildlife with much-needed hydration 💦
We have a mini forest growing in our #CommunityTreeNurseries! 🌱 The native tree seeds we harvested last year have germinated. They’re tiny at the moment (Lego person for scale), but in just two winters’ time we will be planting them in our own woodland creation schemes!
