Everything is controlled. Anyone can self publish, but good luck getting the information out there. There are many that do and end up ostracized and stripped of their license or credentials. Thankfully that won’t be the case much longer.

The point you fail to understand is that the controlled disclosure is the lie. And truth becomes irrelevant if they choose to proceed. You will be socially ostracized best case and purged worst case.
