#DesignDiary Day 393! Currently edited about a third of the next video, and considering I'm making good progress, I'll start looking at making the graphics tomorrow. Otherwise, I continued sketching, mainly focusing on practicing drawing smoother lines and colour blending.

#DesignDiary Day 392! I've finished the script and recorded today - as I was expecting, we're looking at about 15 minutes long once complete. I did some more sketching, and I've got to ask: why am I so much worse at this on a tablet compared to paper and pen?

#DesignDiary Day 391! I'm most of the way through the next video's script: I just need to look at how to lead it into an ending. Hopefully, I have the time to do that and record VO tomorrow.

#DesignDiary Day 389! I'm back at my PC and picking out video ideas, but I've started some sketching practice again. I did a load of it about a year back, but I felt like it wasn't going anywhere and ran out of motivation. Hopefully this time goes better!

#DesignDiary Day 387 + 388 (forgot to post yesterday)! I released the new video with both the fancy new graphics, then spent today binging Arcane Season 2. These weekly waits are going to kill me. I'm not at my PC for a day or two, so I'm not doing any work at the moment.

#DesignDiary Day 386! Video is fully compiled, and I've started working on effects. I've also done the accompanying graphic - it's one of my worst, but I'm on a tight schedule. Expect it to release tomorrow.

#DesignDiary Day 385! I've completed 15 minutes of editing (out of 20 total) for the next video, produced a thumbnail, and a new motion graphic for rankings. Considering the news, I had to find some way to stop myself doomscrolling - expect the video tomorrow or the day after.

#DesignDiary Day 384! Only managed 2 minutes of editing today as I was away from my computer for longer than I hoped, but I'll have a lot of time tomorrow to hopefully make the time up.

#DesignDiary Day 383! Six minutes into the next video currently. I'm hoping to about five minutes of editing a day, plus a new motion graphic and the usual accommodating graphics, in order to release the video before the weekend.

#DesignDiary Day 382! The next video is longer than I initially planned - based on the raw voice-over audio, we're looking at about 21 minutes. I was aiming for 15, but longer videos are fine too, especially when their structure allows for a lot of reused footage.

#DesignDiary Day 381! Ever tried recording something that's happened to you dozens of times, but now that you need footage of it, it just will not happen? Yeah, that was my experience today. First half of a new script done, as well as the recording for the footage.

#DesignDiary Day 357! Released the new video, which is doing well, especially on Twitter/Bluesky! I think it's because @CrashyNews retweeted it on both channels, but it's nice to finally be this guy.

#DesignDiary Day 363! 8.5 minutes into Ring Racers Episode 2 - it's genuinely a really fun process when I have as much good footage as I do, and I could do the video in a day, it's just that I'm a filthy procrastinator. Look at this Ghost of Tsushima project I'm working on!

#DesignDiary Day 348! I did some reorganisation of my video archive to put it on my external hard drive, so I can look at editing videos on my Mac in the hope it runs better. Then, I went and did more element icons for #TheCodex - I keep forgetting to cover them in these updates.

#DesignDiary Day 360! The script is mostly done for the next episode - I'll re-read it tomorrow just to make sure it still seems good, but the basic outline at least is done. Otherwise, it's all been work on personal projects.

#DesignDiary Day 347! Released a video, then completed some personal work. It hurt watching my PC slowly give up as I've made the last few videos, but I'm trying to take precautions to minimise the effects. As it is, I'm currently trying to move a lot of work to my MacBook.

#DesignDiary Day 336! Released the second part of the X Sonic "Speedrunning" video. I'm planning on releasing a "complete version" that combines both parts into one video with some slight adjustments to the script and VO, so expect a very long video to drop in 2-3 days time.

#DesignDiary Day 344! The video is halfway done! The clips I'm using are lower quality than what I usually use, which is making the editing process much faster. I have three thumbnails ready, and I've put a poll out on my Discord server to decide which to use.

#DesignDiary Day 361! The VO for the next video is complete, and I've finished the note taking for the recording footage. Each Marker represents a notable moment, so I'll let you guess why I prefer writing scripts for Rings Racers (on the left) over Mania (on the right).

#DesignDiary Day 364! Video's edited fully, so now I can add the musics and effects - I'm only held back by the fact I haven't done a thumbnail or poster yet, but if I can do them tomorrow, expect the video to drop. Meanwhile, I've worked on the Ghost of Tsushima project more!

#DesignDiary Day 366! Released a video today, although it was delayed by a few hours due to a copyright strike. Surprisingly, considering the age of my channel, I've only ever had four copyright strikes, and only one of my videos is currently demonetised.

#DesignDiary Day 367! Had a Kurosawa day today. Started my NG+ run of Ghost of Tsushima (Lethal Difficulty, Kurosawa Mode) then watched Yojimbo. I tried watching Seven Samurai, but the service I used didn't have English subs for it. All for research for one of my projects!

#DesignDiary Day 371! First draft of the next video's script is now done - after struggling through the first few paragraphs, it got easier - and like I said I would three days ago, I've updated my banners on all channels! Minor, but it's up-to-date now.

#DesignDiary Day 372! The voiceover for the next video has been recorded, and the footage has been marked up, ready to cut and paste into the project. Just need to relink some audio that desynced, but it's otherwise standard practice from here on out.

#DesignDiary Day 337! There's actually less work than I thought necessary to package the two X Sonic "Speedrunning" videos together, so realistically I'll probably be done by tomorrow. The real time sink will be rendering and exporting, seeing as it's my longest video ever!

#DesignDiary Day 338! The next video is mostly done, but that "mostly done" could have been "completed" if my PC didn't spend the last 45 minutes messing with me and refusing to run Premiere. Just some text effects and final checks to go before a *very* lengthy export.
