How many of these individuals/orgs had understood that an ICD-10-CM Signs/Symptoms chapter code for a symptom that is an integral part of a disease diagnosis cannot be assigned as an additional code before blithely signing up to this?

Ok, as a doctor I need to correct this. This is the outdated version of the ICD, we are using ICD-11 right now and gender identity disorder is no longer classify as a mental health condition. So you are not sick, please stay healthy and enjoy your life ( ˶ ᷇ 𖥦 ᷆ ˵ )

Also definition of autism, which has been re-branded as 'autism spectrum disorder" to make clearer that some aspects, that were not considered as 'autism' in the old times, are now considered as such, thus increasing the diagnostic (thiner evaluation catches missed cases)

i’m 99% sure u should be able to get that updated, since the DSM-V renamed the diagnosis from “Gender Identity Disorder” to “Gender Dysphoria” in 2013 :)

The current criteria remain largely reliant on sex stereotypes. And in theory a narrowing of criteria should reduce diagnosis and yet…4k-5k increase since the criteria changed. Medical ethics require we figure out why.
