English's challenge is that our written words are imprecise representation of spoken words, so it's a huge disadvantage to not have a pre-existing vocabulary of spoken English words to refer to
also the problem with the english language is multiple meanings and dialects depending on where ur from with vast quality differences in public education even without being on the spectrum people will take things literally.
This is a real problem. Partly because American English has strange spelling rules but also because we, as a generation, do not practice these skills at the rate to achieve or maintain proficiency

Spellings and pronunciation in English are difficult. Also we tend to drop parts of words and have compound prepositions, such as “to loom over” or “to face up to”
I was just thinking that, since English is your second language, you're being too hard on yourself. You're thinking in your 1st language and translating the words as you type them. The words between the two don't line up sometimes.
