#Clouds data is flooding in for the #FallCloudChallenge! We have a few dawn/dusk photos in the highlight video this week, but a tip: if it's dark, then even if clouds are visible in person, they may not show up in a photo, so best to wait until the next day to continue observing.

Here is a vid from Bill Smith (an Atmospheric Scientist @NASA_Langley). He is especially grateful for all the #contrails observations that #citizenscientists contributed during the NASA GLOBE #FallCloudChallenge! #NASAGO #clouds #CitSci #CloudChallenge #gratitude #Thanksgiving

The #FallCloudChallenge ends Friday! In this #clouds photo the contrails are in circles! Low clouds in Seattle, Washington on November 8th caused planes around Portland, Oregon to circle until visibility was safe enough to land.

Only a week left in the #FallCloudChallenge! Are you taking observations as these #citizenscientists from around the world did? #clouds

In case you missed it, here is the Snapchat story we posted on Sunday all about the #FallCloudChallenge. Learn more about how to participate here: observer.globe.gov/fall-cloud-cha…

Daniel Tong, a forecaster with the US National Air Quality Forecasting Capability Program, wants to thank everyone who submitted dust observations to #NASAGO #FallCloudChallenge. Dust storms can have an impact on human health, weather, and travel .#Thanksgiving #Gratitude

These #citizenscientists took observations during the #FallCloudChallenge - did you? You have a few more hours to make new observations for the challenge, & if you have observations from the last month stored on your phone, make sure you go in to the #NASAGO app and send them in!

We are halfway through the #FallCloudChallenge! Are you taking #clouds observations the way these #citizenscientists from around the world did over the past week? We hope so! Find out all the details at observer.globe.gov/fall-cloud-cha…

For this week's #FridayFeatures, we're looking back at #citizenscience observations sent in during the #FallCloudChallenge in Oct & Nov 2019. We've selected images matched to data from the Terra satellite, so you can see these clouds looking down and looking up! #NASAGO #CitSci

The #FallCloudChallenge ends today, so it's your last chance to take observations to count toward your challenge total! #NASAGO #citizenscience

There are only two more days left in the #FallCloudChallenge. Please get your #cloud observations in quickly. The unusual swirly cloud below is from the launch of an #Antares rocket, heading to the #ISS. The rocket launched at 9:59amEDT on Sat., Nov 2, 2019 from #NASAWFF.

The results are in! The GLOBE #FallCloudChallenge brought in more than 45,000 observations from #citizenscientists in more than 17,000 locations in 93 countries on every continent — including Antarctica. See the full list of top observers here: go.nasa.gov/2D5B58c

With so many photos for the #FallCloudChallenge, it's hard to select just a few for the weekly #clouds video. You can always look at data coming in from your fellow #citizenscientists using GLOBE Vis, vis.globe.gov. Add the clouds photos layer, or explore other data.

I want to know more about the #FallCloudChallenge!

@Karl__Reiter Thanks for sharing the NASA GLOBE Observer #FallCloudChallenge! We look forward to all of your submissions.

Are you anxiously awaiting the #FallCloudChallenge, starting in just ten days? You can of course collect #NASAGO data any time, but here's another observation opportunity you might enjoy, International #ObserveTheMoon Night, happening today!

It’s International #ObserveTheMoon Night! Join lunar observers all around the globe by learning about, observing, and celebrating our nearest neighbor. See more & register your participation at moon.nasa.gov/observe

We announced the top observers from our #FallCloudChallenge yesterday (go.nasa.gov/2D5B58c), but the #citizenscientists who submitted the highlighted photos this week (youtu.be/VgoqEFgiPRI) know you can take #clouds obs any time, even if there isn't a challenge going on!
