It spins correctly now! I might change it though to change the brightness individually for each LED rather than using color palettes. #FastLED has Sine functions that I might use to cycle through instead of changing the pallette starting position each frame.

Still working with this, turns out DATA_RATE_KHZ on a software output in #FastLED is a liar on non-standard CPU clock speeds, like the 96MHz #teensy36. Latest problem is this weird thing on top of the high of the clock output (the dark blue trace)
