Watched #FirstOmen last night, & was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. Could be because a few past horror movies kinda let me down, so this was a nice refresher. Started out a little slow but picked up nicely in the 2nd half. Loved the tie ins to the 1976 OG 7.5/10

I went into FIrst Omen not knowing what to expect. A hell of a lot better than I thought it would be. Enjoyed it so much it made me want to revisit the other three movies.

Just come back from seeing #firstomen and was impressed. A rare example of a prequel to an established franchise being bold and doing its own thing. Visually stunning and I would be happy to see a sequel.
Just got back from #FirstOmen. Great movie. Almost no lowbrow jump scares. Primarily slow building dread along the lines of "The Shining" or "Hereditary." And it provides a powerful theological metaphor. /1
