OK, here it is, the Goole Material3 Expressive design. I do like the nice motion design and animations, as for the colors, well we have been able to do styles like this a long time with #FlutterDev #FlexColorScheme, but while I can I prefer more HIG or Shadcn inspired M3 themes💙

Experimenting with adding the #Shadcn standard color schemes to #FlutterDev #FlexColorScheme plus a selectable premade config that configures Material-3 to be "Shadcn like" and inspired. Need to add some more props in FCS to get a bit closer for some widgets, where doable 🤷‍♂️🙂💙

You are totally correct, the Playground is a very technical tool and its UI is cluttered and can feel overwhelming. It was never intended to become the thing it grew into, it was just the last code tutorial example on how you can use the #FlexColorScheme package to make... 🔽

@RydMike While working on another chip issue, I noticed the chip icons aren't using expected ColorScheme colors so I've filed a new issue github.com/flutter/flutte…. I also looked into #FlexColorScheme and it looks like this could use an update as well.

Funny #ThemesPlayground v4 is still up and running rydmike.com/flexcolorschem… It does not do much else than allow you to try its 36 themes and some theme settings you could use with the #FlexColorScheme API then. It was built with Flutter 2.8. It has changed quit a bit since 🧵

The platform adaptive theming features can in #FlexColorScheme also be set to apply to ALL platforms, we can then use it modify some M3 styles that do not fit with our design. Here I bring elevation shadows back and remove elevation tint on all platforms. 🧵9/

For this example design we will use the component themes in #FlexColorScheme to style things further. I also turned on using tinted disabled and tinted interactions, my preference, keep them OFF if you like. I also took a away Material style Ink splashes. 🧵8/

Doing all this, is kind of a chore in Android, so of course #FlexColorScheme contains a helper function to assist with it all. This feature cannot be themed, so you do need to create your own wrapper widget to use it. All screens shown in above examples used this wrapper: 6/7
