We're back from our Uganda visit which we started off in style, being welcomed at the BaBa TV studios for an interview. It was great to be able to get the #ForeverFriendsofUganda message out to a wider audience.
#foreverfriendsofuganda Despite the mayhem of Storm Claudia yesterday, all was calm inside St George's Church for the Twilight Fair. It It wasn't surprising that fewer people than usual turned up, but thanks to those who braved the elements and visited our stall.
It was #ForeverFriendsofUganda's bucket collection at Edgeley Park yesterday afternoon. Thanks to #StockportCounty for welcoming us and to everybody involved for helping us to raise valuable funds for our Ugandan friends.
#ForeverFriendsofUganda owes enormous thanks to Fraser Horsfall, Lewis Bate and Steve Bellis for a great evening at Bask. The atmosphere was electric as County fans filled the bar. Thank you all. I was blown away by your amazing generosity towards our charity. #stockportcounty

#ForeverFriendsofUganda When a supporter learned about the lack of desks in the Little Angels' classrooms, he offered to fund 200 of them. They have been made and are now ready for use. We thank him so very much. Support like this is the lifeblood of a small charity like ours.

#ForeverFriendsofUganda Wonderful to see! Ten students who have just completed their UCE (equivalent of GCSE) have agreed to do a month of voluntary work at Little Angels Primary School. Here are 2 of them supporting our Reading for Pleasure programme.
What a birthday present! To celebrate, children did voluntary service in Bulumbu. They litter-picked and swept the road. The village people were delighted. They then had a special meal of rice instead of posho (maize meal porridge). A wonderful gesture. #ForeverFriendsofUganda
#ForeverFriendsofUganda We have been helping Uganda children in need to get an education for 22 years, but we now have real need to support some of the younger ones who are being left out. Please message me for more information. With our thanks.
Then and Now at Bubebbere What a difference in 22 years! There was just one block with rough wooden frontage and rusted, leaking roof. Next - the same block today. Now: a children’s home, school hall, more classrooms. Giving hope to childen with nothing. #ForeverFriendsofUganda

#ForeverFriendsofUganda The Kirabo Awards recognise children who display self-motivation, who care for others, who show responsibility and teamwork and who cooperate with teachers and fellow pupils. Their prizes included clothes, footwear and watches. Well done all of you.
It was lovely to meet Bee and her friends at our evening with Fraser Horsfall. Bee was determined to win the auction for the match-worn shirt that all the squad had signed for Fraser. A wonderful example of a County fan’s determination and pleasure. #ForeverFriendsofUganda

Great News. A message from James at Bulumbu: "Water is no longer a problem at school and neighbouring homes." To supplement the new well, repairs are being done to the guttering on the classrooms so that rainwater can be gathered in. #ForeverFriendsofUganda
