Living with a chronic disease doesn't have to limit what you can do. It might change how you do it or how you recover from it but it doesn't have to limit you. Now I'm going to bed to sleep for 3 days. #LivingWithChronicIllness #IBD #getyourbellyout @GutsyWalk
2/2 It's a reminder that 17 years on, while I am in a much better space, my daily routine is easily impacted by the uncertainties of a bowel condition. Time to accept reality, respect my body, and put not so much pressure on the blog. @CrohnsColitisUK #GetYourBellyOut
We’re going… will we see you there? It’s a fab evening out! Can you spot us in the video? FAME💜! @GetYourbellyout #Getyourbellyout fb.watch/mPfilWkznG/
@demontforthall I encountered abuse from 3 young girls. The queue to the ladies was very long and I had to excuse myself through to access the disabled. "She's not disabled", was the comment. It ruined the whole evening. No "invisible disability" signs were up. #getyourbellyout
Just been abroad to Greece for the first time with my stoma. Not only did I cope with it being visible, I also managed to irrigate daily in the hotel. My fears are officially overcome. #stoma #IBD #getyourbellyout #ulcerativecollitis
I can help you to talk to others who are going through the same as you. There are many closed Facebook groups you can join, two of the biggest are #crohnsandcolitisuk and #GetYourBellyOut. Don't keep it to yourself, talking helps. @GetYourBellyOut @CrohnsColitisUK #ibd

In 2013 and 2017 the NHS saved my life. I'm currently receiving lifesaving weekly medication. Don't let the lying cheating Tories privatise the NHS so shareholders can make massive profits. #SupportTheStrikes #Crohns #Getyourbellyout #NHS #IBD

So, today after 2 days with the nurse, I irrigated on my own. I was dreading it but it went well. Not sure how I'm going to find the time but it's nice to be in control: instead of my stoma controlling me!! #getyourbellyout #stoma #chrohns #ibd #ulcerativecolitis
