Give cyclists at least as much room as you would when overtaking a car. The recommendation in the #HighwayCode is 1.5m (about the width of a car) if travelling up to 30mph. Allow for extra space if travelling at faster speeds, in bad weather or at night. #SharingTheRoad

This driver decided to go through a closed area of the road and collided with one of our trucks. This is highly dangerous and a #HighwayCode offence. The driver was prosecuted, fined and got 3 points on their licence. 📣Slow down and follow the signs when you drive in roadworks
