Chat-GPT is just making stuff up. And then people write to me asking if what they heard from Chat-GPT about #JavaParser is actually true. No, it is not! If you use a robot that gives you pseudo-random answers, then you should do the work of verifying them.

Every week someone complain about #javaparser: there is this bug, we want more documentation, etc. It is easy to focus on those people and forget that there are thousands of silent users over there, just doing great stuff with this library. Maybe we should focus more on them

Sometimes ideas click, but I am still surprised by the fact #javaparser was able to become relevant for some many projects. @matozoid has been doing a great job for several years now. I think OSS maintainers like him should get a bit more appreciation javaparser.org

While I've a few minutes and I remember, just a quick note to let everyone know that #javaparser v3.15.18 was released over the weekend! :)

With some help from @matozoid (following some hiccups on my end with @bintray #sadtimes ) we now have #javaparser v3.15.17 uploaded and on its way to maven central!! 🤩🥳

Part 2 of #livecoding @scalacheck for @guardrail_code, trying to generate Arb instances of @OpenApiSpec trees using #javaparser to walk the filesystem and @scalameta to emit the result. Starting in about an hour over at twitch.tv/bhardcheese! @twilio

A bumper changelog with PRs from five separate contributors to #JavaParser v3.16.0 this evening! It has been pushed to maven central from @bintray and should be available for use as a maven/gradle dependency "soon" 🤗🤗👍👍🥳🥳

A sync to maven central has been triggered, meaning that #JavaParser v3.15.22 should be landing with you all shortly! :) I'm really grateful to those who put in the time and effort to make these updates possible! ❤️🥳🥳

Here's a sneak preview of the #JavaParser @intellijidea plugin I'm writing :) It started off as a #CovHack2020 24hr #hackathon project, visualising and exploring #Java source code using the awesome javaparser.org library! Still a work-in-progress, but mostly there now

Does anyone know whether there are plans for moving #JavaParser (javaparser.org) to Java 21? The repo says "Java 1.0 - 18", and indeed it fails on 21 🤔. I feel it's one of the unsung heros of the Java OSS ecosystem, enabling many tools like impsort.
