I don't really hate java that much, especially with intellij ...but being able to use the same language on the frontend + backend is sooo nice and typescript is basically more elegant java so that's why I use node.js for everything
After trying out GoLang, NodeJS and .NetCore, now I understand why #Java is still king in the enterprises. It's not just the language and backward compatibility, it's tooling and rock solid ecosystem & community. Java's tooling is waaayyy ahead of others.
.@nodejs is fast and easy to use. The fact that your JavaScript libraries are either 1) buggy 2) slow is not a problem of JavaScript. Simply put, those libraries are not well written. Rewriting everything in another language is unlikely to solve either problems.
