Dear JavaScript, why must you make simple things so complicated? Can't we simplify the syntax and be friends? 🤔 #JavaScriptWoes #javascripthell #javascript

Debugging JavaScript at 3 AM: My soul’s fading, my coffee’s cold, and undefined is my only friend. Still nailed that async await! #JavaScriptHell #CodeOrDie

Just spent the whole day debugging my 🤬 Node.js server. Can someone please explain why we prefer callbacks over promises in 2021? #NodeSucks #JavaScriptHell

It’s not way back, this is literally how my career started. Had a ska band. Wanted to sell cds on website. Bought JavaScript book in the borders books next to the kinkos I was working at. Finished website but within months was nerd sniped by creating the most JavaScripty…

What a piece of shit language JS, can't believe so much is built on this.

Javascript also kinda sucks. Sure there's some wonderfully expansive mods that do a lot of impressive stuff but that's insanely hard to do from what I understand

Well, I might be coding Scala if management at work didn't have PTSD from Play Framework ("Show us on the doll where Twirl touched you.") But legacy Java pays the bills. Has since 2004 or so. (Before that, my sins were with different tech.) Stockholme syndrome is far more…

Today I met Callback Hell in JavaScript. I’m convinced it was created just to test my patience 😭 Thank God Promises exist felt like switching from chaos to peace ✨ #CodeLife #JavaScript #DevStruggles #WebDevelopment #LearnInPublic #coderarmy

That JavaScript is hot mess and should never be used directly

before I look into the reasons behind this (there might be good reasons), I am going to say very bad words to whoever thought it was a good idea for javascript to do this: 10 > null // true 10 > undefined // false 10 > "" // true 10 > NaN // false WTF IS THIS GARBAGE??!!

Day 15 — #BackAtItWithJavaScript Testing and refactoring my checkout system today and omo the inconsistencies were so much I’ve been console.logging like my life depends on it, so if your own console.log suddenly stops working, just know I’ve used up the limit for the day 😌😂

Even I realized this thingie when I started working full-time..most of them wouldn't survive the interview, and it's not because they lack those skills & all..it's just that JavaScript is a nightmare (but I still love it♥️)

You: I hate this problem I can't solve in JavaScript! Other people:

ECMAScript excitement 😉 Congrats to my coworker @acutmore @TechAtBloomberg on advancing Await Dictionary to Stage 2.7 at @TC39 today 🎉 Promise.all returns positional results as an array. Promise.allKeyed allows named results inside an object 👍

Day 14 – #BackAtItWithJavaScript I didn’t touch VS Code today as I’m under the weather, but I still showed up in my own way. Spent the day mapping out the structure of my little JS product system — Person → Designer → Product → Customer. It’s still progress. Onward we go.

@coldworld_c Again we need to bastardizing JavaScript, why coding for a 4hrs and 3hrs debugging I only need this shit to coupling server.💀

The mess is real, but its a mess developers wanted since no one will ever agree on the "correct" way to build js applications. At least the options are good, and you can plugin what you need.

I HATE THIS FUCKING LANGUAGE I HATE JAVA SCRIPT
